Terms & Conditions


Fares are in Australian dollars, include GST (Goods and Services Tax) and are subject to change without notice.


Bookings are not confirmed until full payment is received. Places on tours are allocated strictly on the basis of when payment is received. Should tours be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances by Coast to Hinterland Tours, a full refund will apply or guests may guests transfer on to the same tour at a later date, or a credit may be transferred across to a different tour at a later date.

Bookings can be transferred by you to another person at no cost but we must be advised of the name of replacement passenger.

Cancellation Policy

0% cancellation fee applies for bookings cancelled up to 24 hours before the tour starts

50% cancellation fee applies for bookings cancelled within 24 hours before the tour starts

100% cancellation fee applies for no-shows.

Bookings may be changed up to 24 hours prior to departure for free.

Date changes within 24 hours may be requested however Coast to Hinterland Tours reserves the right to refuse any change due to insufficient notice.

Coast to Hinterland Tours accepts no responsibility for passengers failing to be at designated pick-up points at designated times.

Deposits for Minibus Charter Bookings

No deposit is required.

Payment for minibus charter & airport transfer bookings

Full payment is required 7 days before travel for minibus & airport transfer bookings? Payment may be made with a credit card or bank deposit.


Infants aged 0-2 years travel free of charge

Children aged 3 years and up to 14 years receive a discount as advertised for each tour

Adult fares apply to persons aged 15 years and over

Accommodation Pick-ups

No refund is payable if a passenger is not at the departure point at the nominated departure time to participate in the tour. Please wait outside the hotel 10 minutes prior to pick up time. Pick up times may vary depending on traffic. To ensure an accommodation pick up is arranged, please make sure you have made a reservation with Coast to Hinterland Tours at the time of booking.

Seating & Seatbelts

All passengers are to wear seat belts in seat belt equipped vehicles.  Coast to Hinterland Tours is not responsible for the provision, installation and securing of children and child booster seats, capsules and child restraints. Parents, guardians or the client are responsible to provide, install and secure all child restraint and booster seats.

Weather & Itineraries

All tours will depart regardless of rain or other weather conditions unless we are aware of conditions/forecasts that would make it unsafe to. Full refunds are given if tours are cancelled prior to departure. All tours are subject to operational needs and changes that may result in some variations to published itineraries and inclusions.


Smoking bylaw smoking is prohibited on all Coast to Hinterland Tours vehicles.

Food & non-alcoholic beverages onboard

Food & Beverages (Excluding water) are not to be consumed on any vehicle without prior approval from the driver. In such circumstances such as chartered services of a bond may be required to cover the risk of damage to the vehicle. Your responsibility for any damage is in accordance with these terms and conditions.

You are responsible for any charge levied in respect of any damage caused to a vehicle as a direct result of your booking or charter.

Alcohol & Drugs

State legislation prohibits ALCOHOL to be consumed in any of our licenced vehicles at any time. There is to be no opened alcohol brought on the bus at any time.

For the safety of other guests, persons considered to be intoxicated by either drugs or alcohol will not be carried and may be excluded from the tour or not boarded. No compensation or refunds will be paid.

Cleaning & Damage

Passengers are responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle as a direct result of your booking. Examples include vandalism, excessive vehicle cleaning due to food or beverage spillage, bodily fluids and breakage of interior or exterior fittings.

A fee may be charged if inappropriate damage or cleaning to the bus is caused. This includes body excretions and/or vomiting. A minimum $250 cleaning fee will apply for excretions and/or vomiting clean-ups.

Breakdowns & Delays

Coast to hinterland Tours gives its advice on tour journey times in good faith and does not guarantee the completion of any journey in any specific time and will not be liable for loss or inconvenience caused by the actual journey time and or breakdown of the vehicle.

Unusual road, traffic and weather conditions are beyond the control of Coast to Hinterland Tours and the driver, and delays may occur. Late arrivals due to these and other occurrences out of the control of the driver are not grounds for cancellation of the tour.

Passenger Property & Lost Property

Coast to Hinterland Tours does not accept liability for any damage to or loss of any property left upon the vehicle by a passenger. All lost property will be returned Coast to Hinterland Tours office and may be returned, Postage costs to return lost property are payable by the passenger.

  • No luggage can be bought on day tours. Large backpacks and suitcases will be refused at departure due to space restrictions on-board.
  • Transfer to Eumundi Markets may be operated on a code-share basis. Occasionally you may be travelling with guests from another tour operator or, in a vehicle from another bus operator.
  • Coast to Hinterland Tours drivers is not responsible for the behaviour and safety of children when not accompanied by a parent or guardian. Drivers are responsible for the safe operation of the vehicle as their primary focus.
  • Coast to Hinterland drivers reserves the right to deny travel where a risk to customers, public or staff is perceived.
  • Coast to Hinterland Tours does not offer wheelchair lift vehicles
  • All reservations are subject to availability.
